HS Customs, located in Logan, Utah - is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team of professionals. Our vision is to build and restore custom cars and trucks, second to nobody! If you have what it takes, consider joining our award-winning team of experts in the custom car industry today!

Requirements: Previous experience and training with references (Prefer ASE certifications), Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to design and configure custom mechanical solutions (ie. Engine/transmission swaps, fuel delivery swaps, etc..) Candidate should have strong skillset in both diesel and gasoline systems. Automotive HVAC experience is necessary. Candidate must be proficient with steering, brake and suspension systems. Creativity and “thinking outside the box” are strongly encouraged. Must be passionate about classic autos / hot rods. Reliable form of transportation, valid driver’s license, solid work ethic, calm demeanor, positive attitude, extreme attention to detail, must be punctual and on-time, must provide own tools, advanced math skills, ability to work well with others. Must be willing to maintain current licenses and attend various classes to further develop skills within the industry as assigned by HS Customs.

Desirable qualifications: ASE certifications, manufacturer specific training, industry-specific training.

Must be physically able to: Stand, sit, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time. Operate various equipment and machinery such as: lifts, presses, brakes, grinders, welders, pneumatic tools, saws, etc.. Lift objects up to 75 pounds. Working conditions vary from: temperate, cold, hot and dusty. Candidate must be willing and able to utilize personal protective equipment such as masks, respirators, gloves, face shield, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.

Pay depends on experience (DOE). We are not currently looking to train an individual.
