Spokane Care to Stay Home is actively recruiting caregivers to join our award winning care team. Not certified, no problem! Work while you train for free to become HCA certified.

As a Caregiver with Spokane Care to Stay Home you will:

  • work one on one to provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes;
  • assist seniors with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene;
  • assist with cooking/meal preparation and light housekeeping,
  • encourage seniors to try new things and stay active (within reason);
  • ensure seniors are taking their prescribed medications;
  • strive to create a positive atmosphere built on trust and respect.

We provide you with:

  • a starting rate of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour commensurate with experience and certifications.
  • a pay range of $16.00 to $20.00 an hour.
  • expert client/caregiver matching, (clients and caregivers thoroughly screened for safety)
  • a care management team that will introduce you to your client and make sure you are comfortable in the situation
  • available clients for quick assignments throughout Spokane County so that we can match you with a client in your area
  • 20-40 hours each week based on your availability
  • weekly new hire orientation and skills trainings to get you started with clients ASAP
  • 24 hour office support to ensure your success

Because we operate 24/7 any employee working on one of our designated holidays will be paid at time and one half their regular pay. Designated holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

We have the following schedules available: (your availability and flexibility guarantees you the most hours)

  • 4, 8 and 12 hour day shifts (between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm)
  • 12 hour night shifts (between 7:00 pm and 8:00 am)
  • Weekend shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday availability
  • 3 or 4 day 24 hour live in shifts (live in clients home for 3 or 4 days to provide on going care)
  • Various locations available including, Cheney, Airway Heights, Spokane and Spokane Valley, South Hill and North Spokane
