Position Summary:
Responsibilities include performing testing in Histology and Pathology areas as required. Prepare specimens from surgery, doctor’s offices, inpatients, outpatients and autopsies by embedding, cutting, staining, mounting and properly labeling all slides with coverslips for Pathologists to evaluate and make diagnosis. Accurately process and prepare all pathology and cytology specimens. Assure accuracy and completeness in quality control. Must demonstrate skills in Histology, including following policy and procedure manual, quality control, maintenance on all equipment and process improvement
Special Qualifications:
