Eman Schools is looking for a High School Social Study teacher:

• Eman Schools is expanding and adding more teachers to the social study department.
• This position will be assigned to teaching High School Social Study.
• Experience teaching college level classes is preferred.
• Eman Schools is an accredited PreK-12th grade private school that is located in the heart of Fishers, IN. Eman School is rated by the IDOE as an A school since inception and a 4 star school and high quality high school. We were ranked last school year as 7th HS in the state of Indiana in standardized test performance.
• We currently serve over 400 students between 3 buildings.
• Our school serves students from Fishers area plus some students commuting from various parts of Indianapolis, Westfield, Noblesville, Zionsville, McCordsville and Carmel.

An Eman Schools teacher is expected to:

• Create a rigorous academic program and develop a class environment favorable to learning.
• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences aligned with the Indiana Standards.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities, including use of the computer lab for technology.
• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
• Seek out additional resources for supplemental needs.
• Ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Have Teaching experience.
• Ideal candidate should possess: high energy level, good verbal and written communication skills, high work standards, good problem solving and decision making skills, excellent organizational and planning skills, flexibility and adaptability.
