We are seeking a passionate and driven Hematology Therapeutic Specialist for our Upstate, NY territory to join ADCT’s Field Sales team.

The Hematology Therapeutic Specialist will report to the Regional Business Director in the Northeast region. This position will cover areas that include but are not limited to Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo, and Albany.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for exceeding sales goals through promoting ADC Therapeutics hematology therapeutic product(s) within an assigned territory in a compliant and appropriate manner.
  • Calls on Academic Medical Centers, Hospital Systems, the VA System, IDNs, Cancer Centers, Oncology Practices, Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, Nurses and associations.
  • Builds deep relationships with customer base and key opinion leaders by providing value and educating on ADCT promoted products with a patient-focused approach.
  • Create and execute effective territory management plan, while leveraging market data and insights to achieve assigned goals.
  • Always act with integrity: Comply with applicable laws in providing healthcare providers with accurate information concerning ADCT products.
  • Works well with other cross functional teammates in a truly patient forward collaborative manner (MSLs, Regional Marketing Managers, Key Account Managers, Patient Access, Sales Operations, etc.).
  • Participates in required meetings and assigned training.
  • Maintains and demonstrates a high level of product and market knowledge through training and continuous learning related to relevant market products and indications, treatment guidelines, market conditions, competitive activities, patient access, and promotional trends.
  • Maintains frequent communication with regional business director and other collaborative partners within the organization.
  • Educates customers on patient access resources and partners with market access colleagues to resolve patient access challenges in a timely manner.
  • Effectively implements and utilizes all approved sales/marketing programs and resources.
  • Utilizes customer relationship management system to provide market insights and enhance impact of sales calls and territory management.
  • Maintains current key customer target lists, submits regular updates to the customer database and plans calls to meet goals.
  • The result of this collaboration will be processes to build, constantly refine and deliver on an account plan to drive success.
  • Completes administrative and training responsibilities in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Reports Adverse Events (AEs) in accordance with company policy.
Requirements:

Who you are:

  • Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry preferred.
  • 2+ proven success within Oncology/Hematology or Rare Disease, Start-up experience preferred.
  • Operates with the highest degree of integrity demonstrating an ethical and authentic approach.
  • Creative and innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • High level of accountability in ownership to drive results.
  • Acts decisively and proactively exhibiting a sense of urgency on behalf of patients.
  • Highly collaborative with a documented track record of partnering for better outcomes.
  • Established customer rapport and existing relationships in geographic area preferred.
  • Successful experience in navigating a virtual sales environment and utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn to network.
  • Experience selling in complex, competitive and rare clinical environments preferred; sales experience in hematology preferred or equivalent in clinic experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous launch experience with IV oncology products, patient access, and distribution preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to travel as necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
