Job description

The Heavy Mechanical Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning, coordination, and execution of heavy mechanical construction, repair and maintenance projects. This includes coordinating with clients, project team members, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Heavy Mechanical Project Manager will also be responsible for developing project schedules, budgets, and scope, as well as managing the procurement of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning and execution of heavy mechanical projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with clients, project team members, and contractors to ensure project goals are met
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and scope
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment
• Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any issues or challenges
• Ensure project quality standards are met
• Prepare project reports for clients and management
• Participate in business development activities to identify and pursue new project opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy mechanical project management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Experience with budget management and cost control
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required
• Experience with hydrogeneration power equipment preferred

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
