Mesilla Valley Hospital is a free-standing psychiatric hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico that provides mental health and drug & alcohol addiction services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Mesilla Valley Hospital has been in operation since 1987, serving those in need of treatment for a variety of psychiatric and substance abuse issues.

We are looking for looking for a dynamic Community Liaison (Business Development) to join our team. This is a full-time community-based position responsible for business development in Northern New Mexico (Albuquerque area).

Our Community Liaisons directly serve as our contact between the hospital, the community, and referring agencies. The Community Liaison is responsible for creating demand for the hospital’s services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods. The Community Liaison is responsible for the implementing the hospital’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the hospital’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and achieve departmental and hospital business development goals.

Qualifications:
The ideal Community Liaison will be self-motivated, able to handle a variety of tasks and work well independently as well as with a team.

The Community Liaison (Business Development) position requires:

Education
: Bachelor's degree is preferred in behavioral health, marketing,public relations, business administration, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
: A minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare marketing or sales, during which measurable business development results were achieved. Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment is preferred.

Additional Requirements
:
  • Ability to travel to territories within Northern NM- may require overnight trips
  • Ability to travel to Las Cruces, NM for training and Quarterly meetings
  • Good communicator and complete monthly and weekly tasks assigned, meeting deadlines
