Summary of Position
The Health & Well-Being Program Manager, located at Extension’s Rockingham County office in Brentwood, N.H., will work under the general direction of the Extension state specialist to guide, train, and support the development of community-based, educational programs. Programs may vary but are focused on topics such as mental health for older adults and Latinx populations, mindfulness and well-being, and chronic disease or pain self-management. The program manager will coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational activities of special programs, projects, and events; provide professional administrative support in accordance with priorities, time and funding limitations, or other specifications; and serve as resource person in support of the Health & Well-Being programs.
This full-time, benefits-eligible position is 100% grant-funded with an anticipated grant end date of Dec. 30, 2026. Continuation of the position beyond Dec. 30, 2026, is contingent on availability of funding.
There is a priority review date of 03/24/23.

Other minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in adult development, education, behavioral health, or other related field and two years of related experience or master’s degree.
- Knowledge and ability to coordinate multiple program activities.
- Experience in program implementation with fidelity.
- Ability to work effectively with the staff, faculty and the public.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel for work. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current federal rate.
- Familiarity with computer programs (e.g., Microsoft suite, Drupal web editing software, Salesforce, Destiny One, Adobe creative suite).
