Job description

Grounds Maintenance Contractor at Tyndall AFB is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to lead a crew of 12-18 employees, have excellent organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems or issues. The Asst. PM will also act as a safety officer and ensure that all employees are following proper protocol.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in the day to day operations of the job.
• Ability to motivate and supervise crew members while working alongside them.
• Promote company mission and values.
• Work with the PM to ensure the efficient use of materials, equipment and employees.

Qualified candidate MUST:

• Be able to operate all grounds maintenance equipment.
• Possess integrity, a great work ethic, and a great attitude.
• Have strong organizational and time management skills to manage the workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with government and crew members.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Pass a criminal background check

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Project management: 1 year (Preferred)
