GEO-TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATES, INC. (GTA) IS SEEKING A GEOTECHNICAL DRILLER FOR OUR NASHVILLE, TN OFFICE! THIS POSITION PAYS A COMPETITIVE SALARY ALONG WITH A $3,500 SIGN-ON BONUS!
DRILLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform geotechnical and direct push “Geoprobe” explorations and well installations
Perform day-to-day operation and maintenance of drill rig equipment
Document geotechnical boring with daily logs
Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
Operate within state and local regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates MUST have:
- 5 Years experience as a Geotechnical Driller
- Experience using hollow stem auger and mud rotary methods
- Tennessee Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Class A or Class B CDL license
- OSHA training and ability to maintain rigs preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk on uneven terrain and in undeveloped wooded areas
