Spine & Nerve Diagnostic Center is a well-established, award winning,
multidisciplinary, evidence based medical practice composed of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and ancillary practitioners. Our team of
providers focuses on diagnosing spine and orthopedic injuries and then tailoring the most effective course of treatment for each patient. We are seeking a full-time general PM&R physician who will perform EMGs and Nerve Conduction Studies to join us. We have 5 clinics throughout the greater Sacramento area including Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, and Granite Bay.

The successful candidate will evaluate and direct patient care under our diagnostic guidelines and treatment protocols, including the use of interventional spine procedures, physical therapy, psychology, and responsible medication management. As a member of our clinical team, the successful candidate's main responsibilities would include:

  • Conducting EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies
  • As needed, perform interventional procedures such as:
  • Interlaminar and transforaminal epidural injections
  • Medial branch blocks and facet injections
  • Radiofrequency ablations
  • Sympathetic blocks
  • Spinal Cord Stimulators
  • Joint injections
  • Nerve blocks
  • Evaluate and recommend treatment options pursuant to practice specific protocols and evidenced-based guidelines
  • Review treatment related reports and correspondence
  • Monitor and document the effectiveness of treatment in relation to patient pain, function, quality of life, and coping skills
  • Work effectively and efficiently within EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers

Requirements

  • Current California MD/DO License
  • Current DEA registration
  • Proficient with computer software applications (EMR experience preferred)
  • Board Certified in PM&R
  • Fluoroscopy license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
