Santikos is looking for a Refrigeration Technician II to maintain our refrigeration and mechanical systems through journey-level repairs, preventative maintenance, new construction work, and other trade-related tasks. You’ll also participate in mechanical and refrigeration projects with other trade-specific teams in our Facilities & Maintenance department

What would I be doing in this position?

· Continually maintain and provide a safe and code compliant condition and operation of all equipment and systems inside and outside Santikos facilities

· Know and comply with all aspects of the building code, following strict adherence to Federal, State, and local laws, company policies, and department procedures/requirements at all times

· Ensure all CMMS work orders are comprehensive and completed within expected intervals

· Maintain and provide a safe and liability free environment inside and outside Santikos facilities

· Inspect, diagnose, maintain, repair, and test all general maintenance fields of responsibility

· Remove and replace or install all types of equipment, appliances, and signs

· Test and ensure the safe conduit of electricity through all general maintenance fields of responsibility

· Repair plumbing, electrical equipment, appliances, refrigeration, HVAC, and floors

· Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble a wide variety of articles, materials, and devices, including steel, copper, brass, and plastic

· Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and sketches of work before meeting with management to discuss any proposed project before construction/repair

· Detect and self-perform or communicate all needed repairs for buildings, grounds, and equipment, entering work orders and preventative maintenance goals into the CMMS system whenever required

· Develop cost estimates for installation and repairs

· Order and maintain stock of supplies, tools, and other required materials

· Safely follow common building, plumbing, and electrical codes, standards, and traditions

· Monitor contractors and subcontractors during repairs or new construction

· Keep Leads and Supervisors informed of project status and work progress, needed materials and equipment

· Load and unload materials and supplies

· Communicate and coordinate with other Facilities Services to facilitate work

· Keeps up with on-call responsibilities and schedule, including emergency calls

· Know and comply with occupational health and safety (OSHA) regulations specific to the work and conduct on the job, including Safety Data Sheet (SDS) instructions, Hazard Review Checklists (HRCs) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

· Comply with all Santikos and Facilities Services policies and procedures. Support all management directives and the vision and values of Santikos Entertainment

· Participate in and follow through with Santikos process improvement initiatives into internal work processes. Promote employee engagement in continuous improvements and innovation

· Actively participate in meetings and training outside of scheduled shifts

· Provide excellent customer service through effective, courteous and professional interactions with clients, colleagues and the Santikos community

· Maintain proper work attire or uniform at all times, in addition to company policy concerning professional appearance and grooming

· Maintain company instruments, vehicles, and equipment to company standards

· Perform other duties as assigned

What education or experience do I need to have to qualify?

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Valid Texas state driver’s license or a license recognized as valid by the State of Texas

· Reliable vehicle for regular local travel to and from geographically dispersed work sites

· Incident-free driving record as documented by regular verification through Motor Vehicle reporting and on-board Company Vehicle GPS, camera, and/or other sensors and reporting

· 5 years’ experience in general maintenance or trade certified facilities team and specialty repair certification

· Ability to climb up and down and safely work from all types of ladders, lifts, and platforms, including those used for roof access

· Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and temperatures

· Flexibility with work hours and schedule

· Ability to access and work in semi-confined spaces and heights not limited to roofs, ceilings, and below building areas using approved safety precautions

· Ability to lift and move heavy material is required

· Ability to purchase and wear approved footwear during scheduled work times

· Knowledge of and practical experience with OSHA (occupational Safety and Health Act) regulations preferred

· Proficiency with standard CMMS software similar to Asset Essentials or equivalent products preferred
