The US Army Combat Capabilities Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) located on Redstone Arsenal, AL is looking for engineering and cybersecurity professionals to fill positions at all levels. DEVCOM AvMC, as a Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory (STRL), will be utilizing the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) for Bachelor’s and Advance degrees to fill these positions.

Duty Description

Provide systems engineering, software engineering or cybersecurity technical knowledge and expertise in support Aviation and Missile systems. Support includes software and hardware requirements management, program management, modeling, and simulation, developing and reviewing technical documents including specifications, acquisition planning documents, interface control documents, software documents and reports, development of statements of work, risk management framework, and leading/participating in interdisciplinary teams.

Knowledge, skills, and experience sought in each of the following specialized areas:

· Technical Management

· Systems Engineering Principles and Best Practices

· Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Tools and Methodologies

· System Integration

· Hardware Development and Integration (including radar and electronic warfare components)

· Agile Software Development Approach

· Cybersecurity

· DoD Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA)

· Digital Engineering/Digital Enterprise

· Technical Support for Foreign Military Sales

Basic Salary Range (with locality pay adjustments): $37,439 - $127,170

Minimum Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Travel Required: Temporary Duty (TDY)/Business travel up to 25% of the time.
