JOB TITLE: Seasonal Games Team Member
REPORTS TO: Seasonal Games Unit Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Games
PAY RATE: $17.40/hour
JOB SUMMARY: Games Team Members operate various skill games, interact, and encourage Guests to play games, and explain and enforce game rules.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Encourage guests to play games, explain the rules of the game and observe game play to ensure all game rules are followed.
- Making change for guests and deposit game revenue.
- Assist Supervisors with cleaning stock areas and stands.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional work environment at all times.
- Must maintain proper attendance and promptness.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Elitch Gardens mantra.
- Flexibility to work well within a team as well as independently.
- Positive attitude to make guests excited about playing the games and have a passion for creating lasting, fun, and meaningful memories.
- Must follow all Elitch Gardens and Department policies including (but not limited to): grooming, cash handling, loss prevention and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Basic math skills.
- Able to operate a cash till and/or a Point of Sale (POS) cash register, receiving money and returning proper change.
- Must be able to understand oral and written English and be able to communicate with guests and other employees effectively.
- Must be able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and outgoing personality for providing excellent salesmanship to our guests. This includes spieling to guests with or without the assistance of a microphone.
- Required to work in various weather conditions.
- Available to work overtime if over 18 years of age.
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

- Unless seeking and qualifying for an exemption, employees are required to indicate COVID -19 vaccination status, and if vaccinated (as defined by the CDC), provide proof of such vaccination.

- Must be able to walk or stand for up to six hours a shift.
- Requires occasional kneeling and bending.
- Requires occasional reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling.
- Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 30 pounds.
- Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two-wheel hand truck.
- Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.
