Ampac Forwarding is a small business in High Point, NC. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Ampac Forwarding is a warehousing, packing and shipping company specializing in the quality care of home furnishings and special commodities. Located in High Point, North Carolina since 1989, our company has grown on a foundation of personalized, quality service to our domestic and foreign customers. Ampac's highly experienced staff is trained to be attentive to our customers' specific individual needs..

We are looking for experienced packers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging products to individual customer specifications and will be expected to perform this role in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, the right candidate will make sure that all packaging is done according to the safety and security guidelines of our organization.

Daily task will include but not limited to:

• Prepacking and export wrapping of furniture/accessories.
• Box making as we have a custom box maker.
• Help in loading and unloading containers.
• Assist in setting up/take down of off site showrooms during market season.
• Export wrapping and shipping out of showrooms.
• Helping out on in home installs with our box truck drivers.

• Able to lift and carry 100lb+ items.
• Someone that wants to grow into a lead role in the future.

Please note that the pay scale can change depending on the level of experience you have.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
