Full-Time Mercer Island House Manager/Nanny

We have a family located on Mercer Island looking for a house manager/nanny for their home and two daughters (6 and 9yrs)! Most of this role will be focused on house management and keeping everything running smoothly but there is a childcare element when school is out. Some of the responsibilities will include keeping the house tidy (no deep cleaning as they have weekly cleaners), grocery shopping, errands, taking girls to school and picking them up, planning/making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the girls (dad just eats whatever they have and it doesn't need to be gourmet), managing any projects and/or vendors, gathering and donating clothes that don't fit anymore, and laundry.

When you're with the girls, the focus is switched to them. You can expect to plan age-appropriate activities, get them out of the house, have heart-to-hearts, send Barbie on adventures, and maybe even shoot some hoops. The youngest has type 1 diabetes and will require help managing it. It would be helpful if the candidate has experience with diabetes but is not required as the dad is open to training whoever he hires. There is an older dog in the house who may or may not still be with the family upon starting, regardless please have no allergies and you must be comfortable around dogs.

This position is Mon- Fri 7/7:30am- 5/5:30pm with an unpaid hour-long break and offers guaranteed hours, overtime, paid time off, paid holidays, a car for use during the workday, and an hourly rate of $35-$40/hr (5hrs/week will be paid at overtime rate) with a cap of around $95k/yr.

-A minimum of 2 Years Professional Paid
-Childcare Experience (this does not include family)
-3 Childcare References & 2 Personal or
-Professional References (not including family)
-Must be 21 or older for permanent placement
-Must be 19 or older to join Back-Up Care Team
-CPR & First Aid Certified (we can help you get this if you do not have a current one)
-Non-Smoker
-Clean Criminal Background & Driving Record
-Valid Driver's License & Reliable Vehicle
-A Complete Childcare Resume (we can provide a template if you do not have one)
-Legally eligible to work in the US
-Long-Term Job Nanny Eligibility: Must be able to commit to a family for a minimum of 1 year
