Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul offers senior living with services to 127 customers and a 37-bed transitional care and rehabilitation center, 24 memory care apartments, and 10 care suites.

Walker Methodist Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul is hiring for a full-time Health Unit Coordination (HUC) in our TCU department.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, organize, coordinate, and perform non-nursing clerical and administrative tasks for the TCU
• Facilitate the admissions process by managing clerical and administrative tasks for the new admissions, including transcription of orders
• Act as customer service liaison for the new TCU patients

Schedule: Full-time, ten days per pay period; every other weekend

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of a HUC education program or prior experience as a HUC
• At least two years in an acute care or Transitional Care setting preferred
• Extensive experience with order transcription
• Previous experience working with an Electronic Health Record preferred
