Job description
Gridiron IT is seeking an experienced senior full stack software engineer who is passionate about developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions in cloud connected distributed systems. You will engage closely with product and solution counterparts to design and develop features for a critical greenfield business system and regularly ship new capabilities that maximize business value and enhances the costumer experience. You will work collaboratively within a diversely skilled team to design, code, test, and debug utilizing Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Understanding of modern web, front end and server, and cloud applications
- Experience building and maintaining meaningful Continuous Integration systems
- Knowledge of with SQL
- Experience with a variety of web services including REST microservices
- Production experience with either Azure or AWS
- Familiar with Amazon or Azure cloud data storage solutions
- Experience with Python, Java, or similar languages
- Familiar with React or Angular web development
- Experience with iOS, Android, or React Native a plus
- Proven experience working with all layers of application development
- Comfortable working with open-source technologies
- Proficiency in data modeling and API design
- Understanding of payment processing, healthcare security requirements, and hardware a plus
- Proficiency in application/platform security
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a good work ethic
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of core engineering concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to effectively contribute to a variety
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns including concurrency patterns
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Effective communication skills and ability to document technical designs
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, Git and Github preferred
- 8+ years as a professional software developer
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
