Four Paws Animal Hospital is a small one doctor practice privately owned that is AAHA accredited and located in beautiful Suwanee Johns Creek area. We are searching for an experienced full and part-time kennel assistant. This position requires one to have at least 1 year of experience in animal care. We are looking for someone who wants to come to work, that is reliable, on time and that wants be apart of an already great group of hard working individuals that love what they do. Must be a friendly and compassionate person with a great bedside manner who can comfort our patients and our clients while maintaining our mission which is to provide the best healthcare in a professional and caring environment. Some of our job requirements are excellent communication skills, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of our boarding pets. We also like to be very upfront and let you know that CLEANING is 90% of this job!

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Assist in restraining animals for various medical treatments.

Using a computer to record weights and other information in the pets medical record.

Making sure the hospital facilities are clean.

Bathing pets, trimming nails and cleaning ears.

Walking and feeding.

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Be able and willing to work weekends and most holidays.

Our hospital hours are Monday - Friday 7 am to 6 pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
