Job Description: Busy Lincoln Park family is seeking a full-time nanny manager to support their family of 3. Family is seeking someone loving, patient but proactive and organized. May 30th start date.
Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours. Monday-Friday 10/11am – 6pm. 1 weekday 2pm-9pm. This weekday can be flexible pending nanny's preferences.
Compensation: $26-$28/hr. + PTO, holidays, vacation time.
Job Details and requirements:
- One 2yo enrolled in full-time daycare.
- Parents will drop child off at school. Nanny will work on management tasks during the day and pick up child in the afternoon, bring home, assist with dinner, etc.
- If school is off or child is home, nanny should be willing to shift schedule and cover the entire day. When child is home, nanny should be knowledgeable of age-appropriate activities.
- During the day, tasks will include home organization, errands, family laundry, making returns, etc.
- Nanny should feel comfortable assisting with grocery shopping and dinner preparation when needed.
- School is a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Nanny manager will pick-up child each and bring to any activities or engage in outdoor play before returning home.
- One parent works from home in a designated office space.
- In the future, family would like to expand their family. The ideal candidate is experienced with newborns and comfortable with the role shifting in the future.
Qualifications:
- Active, reliable, and organized.
- Creative and loving.
- Candidate should be proactive and find what needs to be done.
- Must have demonstrated long-term relationships with past families.
- Driving is required for role. Nanny must have safe driving record. Ideally, nanny can provide a vehicle for use on the job. Parking is available.
