Job description

We’re looking for an extraordinary senior front-end engineer to join our team. We're looking for someone who enjoys intense and fast-paced working environments and wants to have a big impact on our product. We're looking for someone product-obsessed and approaches coding with a high degree of craftsmanship.

As a front-end software engineer, you’ll not only write code, but you’ll get to know our users, have input with design, and contribute to developing our product roadmap.

The Role

• You’ll work with our small engineering team to continue building our core e-commerce platform.

• You’ll be expected to make important technical decisions as we launch new features and scale the product.

• You’ll be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing entire builds or features end-to-end, from idea to launch. You’ll shape the direction of the product by working closely with design, marketing, and our founding creators.

• You’ll mentor junior engineers, and do code reviews.

• You’ll help to grow the engineering team.

The Stack

• Frontend — Typescript; React on web, React Native (and some Swift).

• Backend — Php.

• The idea of launching a new product is exciting to you. You’re technical at heart, but you want to be involved in domains beyond engineering.

• You’ve led initiatives in previous roles.

• You have a deep understanding of JS & React.

• You understand the importance of both speed and quality, and the trade-offs of choosing one over the other.

• You have insane attention to detail when it comes to front-end development, and you understand how critical a smooth and delightful user experience is for consumer social products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
