Quick Facts:
- Med-ped/FP hospitalist program close to Raleigh/Durham
- Day block schedule
- Daily patient census is 13 to 14 (1 to 2 newborns)
- Open ICU, no procedures on adults, but should be able to stabilize a newborn
- Rare circumstances to intubate, lines, and perhaps a circumcision
- Run codes/rapids
- Critical babies will be transferred out
- 2 FPs and APPs also participate in the newborn inpatient rotation
