Responsibilities include assuring regulatory programs, food safety procedures, microbial programs, etc. are implemented, understood, and improved upon; along with coordinating audits, leading cross-functional teams, and training.
Requirements include.
- Minimum 3 years experience in food manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Access
- Experience in auditing, inspecting, and quality assurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical knowledge of food safety
- Well organized
- Knowledgeable in GFSI auditing schemes
Education:
BS in Food Science a plus
Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus
