The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager of My Place you’ll help lead and direct food and beverage operations at the Holiday Inn of Marquette. Working directly with the Restaurant and Bar Manager, you’ll help ensure quality service and standards are maintained to deliver a great guest experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing front-of-house operations for My Place and banquet events.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining detailed records of inventory, orders, and budgets.
  • Assist in managing, scheduling and training staff, including servers and bartenders.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization in the food and beverage department.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with some experience in a supervisory or administrative role.
  • A minimum of 4 years of bartending & serving.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with certification preferred.
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office and Micros.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, day and evening shifts.

Starting pay is based on experience with the opportunity to go up over time for fully qualified individuals. Applicants must be able to pass a background check. Benefits available for full-time employees; a waiting period may apply.
