Job description

Seeking experienced Flexo press operator with minimum 5-10 years’ experience running stack or central impression presses. More than willing to consider recently retired flexographic supervisor with similar experience to supplement our pressroom.

Candidate should be able to operate independently with regard to make ready, mounting of plates, and be able to assist other press operators.

Good communication skills and facility in reading English are mandatory.

Spanish language skills a plus.

We are a 65-year-young privately held manufacturer of tags and labels based in Roosevelt, NY located in central Nassau County and accessible to both major highways, and the LIRR.

Work week is 3-4 days per week and is flexible to candidate’s needs.

We operate a 8hr shift from 8AM to 4:30PM with a half hour lunch

with morning and afternoon breaks.

Benefits include 7 sick/personal days per year, plus all major Holidays.

Vacation benefits (one week) accrue after first year of employment.

Hourly salary is negotiable based on experience ($20.00-$25.00 per hour)
