Job Description:

The Fleet Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Area Fleet Manager and will be responsible for the management and coordination of maintenance for the organization’s fleet of 200+ motor vehicles. The Fleet Coordinator will own the scheduling and review of all vehicle maintenance with in-house and 3rd party maintenance providers, with reviewing all repair details and costs. Included with the maintenance will be control of roadside response efforts and overseeing of all regulatory compliance inspections of the organizations fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support new program/vehicle implementations for all fleet/vehicle related responsibilities.
• Manage, Audit, & Support all local, state, and federal compliance regulations, including compliance inspections.
• Maintain a clean yard
• Work with management to ensure proper setup procedures and preparations for the Drivers shifts
• ensure all communications with Dispatch are covered
• Take responsibility to ensure vehicle swaps are done in efficiently, following SOPs and without affecting performance

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

• Microsoft Office with experience in Excel
• Strong electronic filing, documentation tracking and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and consistent formatting.
• Self-Motivated and driven problem solver
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education and Qualifications:

• Hard requirements1-3 years Transportation experience

High school diploma or GED

• Preferred requirementspassenger transportation history.
