Accountant (I, II)
While reporting to the Manager - Capital Asset Planning & Analysis, you will support accounting and business policies and procedures necessary to close the books and support the business unit including; the monthly closing of capital projects for assigned plants, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing and maintaining various summary reports.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monthly general ledger close and support for assigned plants
Detect and correct obvious errors during the closing process
Financial statements are complete and accurate
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned
Prepare and maintain various reports, as assigned
Maintain effective communication with plant personnel
Maintain a high quality and professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers
Stay up to date with accounting concepts, practices and procedures
Promote strong internal controls
We’d love to hear from you if:
You have a Bachelor’s degree; Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
You have 2-4 years of related experience is preferred
Focus first on learning the job duties. Then work towards making process improvement suggestions and implementations.
Keep an open mind for automation opportunities.
Healthy curiosity is a plus and is encouraged.
