Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a First Line Liaison Engineering Manager to lead an integrated group of engineers and technical designers for Liaison Engineering, in support of Boeing suppliers/partners for all programs. The role is located in Renton, WA.

This position involves staffing and directing a technical team in establishing group goals, managing budgets, monitoring group performance against program and functional commitments and developing technical employees within the group. The s uccessful candidates will have current or past Material Review Board (MRB) experience.

Position Responsibilities:
Ensuring support of Materials Review Board (MRB) operations, design changes for corrective action and producibility, technical and analytical support to manufacturing build units (MBU), production support teams and support of functional initiatives.

This position will require managing projects, nonconformance issues, certification requirements, MRB delegation/oversight, and interface with Operations, Quality, Engineering, airline representatives, regulatory agencies and supplier/partners.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering

5+ years related engineering experience

2+ years of experience working on MRB (Materials Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures

2+ years of experience in a managerial or team lead role

W illing to work on a rotating shift

Preferred Qualifications :
Project management experience

Strong decision making, problem solving and organization skills

Experience motivating employees and assisting in their development

Ability to accept direction and work with others toward shared goals; capable of multi-tasking while working in a dynamic organization with a diverse workforce

Lean+ knowledge, leadership and experience are highly valued

Cross-BCA engineering discipline experience and knowledge is highly desired

Ability to interface successfully with airlines, suppliers and other functions within Boeing

Ability to obtain the appropriate level of management support for quick issue resolution

Must have excellent people skills and possess a working-together attitude

Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: $135, 550 - $187, 450
