The Finance Analyst (FP&A) at ConMet is a corporate-level role responsible for forecasting, planning & reporting responsibilities. The FP&A Analyst acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insight, consultation and support to teams, managers, and other members of the Finance Department & Plant Finance teams. Performs essential reporting duties related to weekly, monthly, & annual financial reporting of actual, forecasted, & planned results.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and will be based at ConMet's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates rolling weekly & monthly financial forecast updates.
  • Initiates the capital expenditure process including understanding and preparing the models as well as providing initial justifications for capex requests.
  • Key support person in the annual operating plan preparation, review, analysis, and implementation.
  • Assists with Monthly reoccurring reporting & initiates process improvements utilizing current technology.
  • Participates in special projects in the Finance Department as well as on other teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field.
  • Understanding and interpretation of financial statements and financial/business acumen is essential.
  • Strong Excel proficiency.
  • Clear verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders & business process owners.
  • Minimum of three years accounting and financial management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: new hires generally start between $73,000 - $108,274. Placement based on qualifications and professional experience. Entire salary range $73,000 - $129,000. Placement based on factors including qualifications, professional experience, and location.
  • Targeted annual bonus based on company performance metrics as defined by Amsted Business Unit Incentive Plan is determined by position and experience levels.
