Financial Executive Assistant to the President
Merrillville, IN area

You will be located at our office and will have a schedule of Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 5pm with overtime and company events. This is not a remote position.

Importance & duties of this Financial Executive Assistant position:

As the Financial Executive Assistant (FEA) to the President, you will act as their right-hand admin; you will oversee & manage their day-to-day activities and meetings. You will sit in most meetings taking extensive notes. You will handle a wide range of administrative tasks which require a strong ability to navigate through new systems. You will act as the main liaison between the President and clients daily. You will generally manage the President’s schedule and priorities and assist in keeping the President organized.

Required experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • 3-4 years of financial advisory services/Broker Deal industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Advanced Technology Skills and use of CRM software and MS Office products are required.
  • Ideally you have experience with Redtail software, along with Riskalyze, Wealthscape, and Financial Planning software.
  • Must be able to type at least 50wpm.
  • Important: FINRA Series 7 Securities License is normally required. If you are not licensed, you will need to acquire your license within 2 years. Also, a Series 63 or 66, and Insurance License or already a Certified Paraplanner are preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (active listening skills is a MUST).
  • Team player with the ability to work well with the entire staff and clients.

Compensation & Benefits:

Depending on your experience and performance record, we offer a yearly salary of $40,000 - $55,000. The firm also offers:
