Novilla RNG Financial Analyst

Location: Ypsilanti, MI

ABOUT NOVILLA RNG

Novilla RNG is a nationwide developer of renewable natural gas projects at dairies across the continent. Our mission is providing a sustainable and beneficial path for North American agriculture to reduce their greenhouse gas footprint and create a reliable income stream. Our process digests cow manure, creating a biogas that is purified into pipeline quality natural gas that can be use in a variety of ways. The digestion of the manure mitigates the amount of greenhouse gases emitted from dairy lagoons.

GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for creating financial pro-formas for new projects, forecasting, working with renewable attributes off-takers, and preparing investor reports. This position will work closely with the CO-CEO’s and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of discounted cash flow, Microsoft Office, modeling sensitivities, management presentations and extensive experience in financial modeling.

PRINICIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

· Financial modeling of new RNG projects and decision trees

· Assisting CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and management reports

· Ad-hoc operations analysis, including renewable attributes verification assistance

· Cash Flow forecasting

· Other roles as decided by management

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. MBA preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years experience in financial modeling.

· Very high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Extensive experience and understanding of discounted cash flow modeling, financial modeling, accounting, and sensitivity analysis

· Experience presenting financial results to senior management

· Strong Office 365 skillset – particularly PowerPoint and Excel

· Understanding of energy and renewable attributes markets

· Displays a positive attitude, is highly motivated and results oriented

· Ability to establish and maintain confidential and effective working relationships with supervisor, coworkers, management and the general public

· Ability to function within a matrix organization in which functional and business leaders have equal authority within the organization and employees report to both a functional leader and a business leader

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Financial Analyst will work in an office environment while occasionally traveling to sites. Ability to read print on computer screens and use a keyboard and mouse for an extended periods of time are necessary.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The employee performs job duties in a hybrid work environment which includes days in the office and at home as decided by management. Office environment has a moderate noise level. Travel will be required to remote sites and to offices of state and local agencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
