The Manager, Finance Global Consumer Products position is responsible for the financial management and business development of the Consumer Products business. If you are a strategic minded financial leader, this role is for you! In this role, you will partner and support the CP sales teams and focus on revenue forecast and analysis. This will include the development and ongoing improvement of financial forecasting, planning, budgeting and long-range planning processes. It will also include responsibility for monthly and quarter-end reporting and variance analysis as well as business analytics & financial trending to support optimal deal structures and global licensing strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the wider CP Finance Team across locations around the world! You will be responsible for improving the contribution and partnership of the finance function with the CP division. This person will report directly to the Director of Global CP Finance and work with a disparate stakeholder group including CP Sales teams to improve analytical tools and enhance operational visibility of risks and opportunities and awareness of strengths and weaknesses in the business to support overall business performance.

Overview and Responsibilities: In this outstanding role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Exude strategic partnership approach by bringing to bear financial models to enhance business deal terms
  • Craft, communicate and implement policies & procedures
  • Promote a strong sense of urgency and appropriate level of support for deliverables
  • Collaborate with the systems and operations teams to develop and improve analytical tools and processes
  • Support the Global VP in establishing and implementing Finance standard methodologies and developing an outstanding Finance organization
Financial Management & Oversight:
  • Ensure licensee projections are complete and accurate
  • Liaise with Sales, Operations and central Finance teams to ensure maximum revenue is recognized
  • Evaluate financial performance against desired outcomes
  • Track risks and opportunities
  • Inform, review and communicate allocations and monthly actuals
  • Liaise with Global Finance teams
Planning:
  • Perform and prepare annual budgeting and quarterly estimates in conjunction with Sales and external partners to support the Sales teams.
  • Build monthly outlooks, quarterly estimates, and "real time" financial forecasts
  • Prepare and present Long Range Strategic, Financial Plans and detailed budgets
Operational Support:
  • Partner with sales to provide detailed revenue and deal reporting and analysis to support business decision making on all aspects of licensing and optimize deals
  • Perform/present variance analysis and budget resolution (ad hoc, marketing, return on investment)
  • Creation, and ongoing enhancement, of all planning and analytical presentation decks for management purposes
  • Support sales leads with property and licensee deal analysis on an ad-hoc basis
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar is required, master’s degree a plus
  • 5+ years finance experience, Consumer Products industry preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 135,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
