Job Posting:

Ferguson has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst supporting the Supply Chain Department! This role will provide data driven analysis and support the Finance organization and Executive leadership throughout the organization.

Location:

This role is approved for hybrid work out of our corporate offices in Newport News VA and Hampton Roads area. Alternatively, we will consider remote work with an 8-5 pm EST working schedule and mid-Atlantic location preferred. Occasional trips to Newport News for in house collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Build in-depth analytics to challenge and support business decisions.

• Understand and communicate Business trends, seasonal factors, benchmarking and correlational analysis to identify areas for performance improvement.

• Develop and deliver, and refine ad hoc analysis, financial models, and business cases to support a rapidly changing business environment.

• Prepare and deliver reporting to senior leadership and collaborate with departments outside of finance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.

• 1-4 years experience preferred

• Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft O365 (especially Excel).

• Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.

• Strong analytical and modeling skills, and comfortable combining multiple data sources.

• Effective and professional communicator comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a team environment of hard-working colleagues.

• Effectively self-manage schedule, work location (home/office/remote) and competing priorities from multiple internal customers/projects.

Pay Range:

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
