Apple is seeking an entertainment marketing professional with a track record of building world-class campaigns to join our growing team. This role will work on global marketing launch campaigns for upcoming Apple Original Films across a diverse range of content. You will be a cross-functional liaison for the marketing campaigns of select titles on the Apple Original Films slate. You will focus on handling workflow and execution of integrated marketing plans that drive viewership and subscriber growth for Apple TV+. From greenlight, to launch, and through sustain phases of the campaign, you'll be a point of contact with all internal teams, executives, agencies creatives, and filmmakers working with them to collaborate and communicate throughout the lifecycle of the project. Ideally, you've participated in marketing high-profile entertainment properties and have a strong foundation in crafting clear and distinctive positioning, creative strategy and informed media approach that cross-functional teams can implement upon. You know how to tell stories, on any platform, that drive audience anticipation and engagement. You listen and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align early on overall strategy and goals. Your love for film and pop culture pushes you to thrive in a quick moving environment and be an excellent teammate.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years in consumer marketing experience, with direct responsibility for launching original films in media / entertainment
  • Knowledge of film distribution including various release models (traditional, platform, day and date, and streaming)
  • Knowledge of and experience in supporting robust portfolio of creatively led 360 campaigns, from high level film strategy to directly implementing the tactics
  • A strong foundation in strategy, film positioning and target audiences for consumer campaigns at scale
  • A highly strategic and analytical approach to decisions and problem-solving, with the skill to balance data-driven decisions with experience, instinct, and creativity.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across our adjacent business teams, content producers and creators while navigating a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience marketing to international audiences and knowledge of translating content for a global audience
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills; the ability to present ideas simply in presentations and documents across a range of perspectives, from creative to data.
  • Highly skilled at creating succinct and beautiful presentations, specifically in Keynote.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, project management, budget planning/tracking, and multi-tasking skills with shown attention to detail

Description

Prepare briefs, positioning and strategy materials for films across genres- narrative feature, documentary, animated, musical, etc. Socialize campaign strategy and creative with key partners including internal collaborators, filmmakers, executives, and theatrical partners. Comments restricted to single page. Lead execution of 360 campaigns with counterparts in operations, creative advertising, social media, Apple Owned & Operated channels, paid media, events, publicity, festivals, and more to deliver breakthrough campaigns that drive subscribers and viewership for Apple TV+. Collaborate with Awards team on FYC campaigns for select titles. Partner with media team to develop paid media plans that deliver against awareness and viewership goals. Lead key meetings, develop campaign recaps and updates, and apply project documents, such as marketing trackers, timelines, status reports, budget review, etc. to ensure execution against goals. Work in partnership with creative team to ensure materials are aligned with the film positioning and Apple brand; ensure all aspects of campaign and creative is consistent across all consumer touch points. Prioritize resources and manage deliverables requirements, and communicate realistic timelines for execution. Identify and implement brand partnerships, promotions, grassroots marketing activations and integrations with internal teams or 3rd parties and partner with Apple Ecosystem on cross-company promotions. Help develop strategy for organic social and digital spanning content creation, community and audience development.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent. MBA or relevant graduate work a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,000 and $218,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
