Job description

The Law Office of Daniel Snyder is seeking an office assistant/file clerk. Our firm primarily handles employment discrimination and civil rights litigation. We are looking for applicants with exceptional organizational skills who can deal effectively and courteously with staff, court personnel and clients.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Processing and organizing correspondence, discovery and other documents;

- Proofreading pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents;

- Preparing deposition and trial documents; and

- Assist with other tasks as needed.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

- Superior organizational and communication skills;

- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple, concurrent matters and activities;

- Ability to work well and communicate with different types of people, both internally and externally (clients, staff, attorneys, judges and judicial staff);

- Willingness to take on many challenging assignments and be resourceful;

- Organized working process: attention to detail, thoroughness in work activities; processing information quickly;

- Knowledge and experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and Acrobat.
