Mortgage Loan Closer

As a Loan Closer, you'll directly impact new homebuyers by setting up internal closing controls, managing the closing schedule, and conducting closings with buyers. Your attention to detail when reviewing all closing files and your follow-up skills with customers will make you an asset on our team.

Mortgage Loan Closer Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare closing documents and review files and title binder prior to closing to confirm accuracy, completeness, and contingencies.
• Ensure appropriate insurance has been obtained for closing.
• Deposit checks and disburse refund checks after closing and complete disbursement log.
• Prepare final closing documents for recording.
• Ship loan files and follow up on post-closing documentation for closed loans

Mortgage Loan Closer Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience closing loans
• Working knowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures
• Operate office equipment (i.e., telephone, typewriter, calculator, computer, copier and fax machine).
• Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
