FIELD WORKERS — IMMEDIATE OPENINGS AVAILABLE!!!

Oko’a Farms is seeking Field Workers to support our expanding organically-managed farm. Our high-quality produce is featured at restaurants and farmers markets, island-wide. Over the past decade, we have continued to expand our beloved offerings and extend our reach throughout the Maui community.

We are seeking full-time, hard-working individuals who are ready to carry out the daily operations of our farm, which includes readying newly leased land for farm production.

Duties will include all aspects of natural farming from planting to harvesting to crop management throughout the process.

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Applicants must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds.

This position is full-time, around 50 hours per week, with health insurance.

• Manual Labor

Physical Requirements:

• Tolerate extreme temperatures for 6+ hours a day
• Work in an outdoor environment
• Work in greenhouse
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Stand, sit, kneel, stretch and squat for long periods of time while using best practices to maintain strong long term personal health

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to operate farm equipment—weed-whacker, chainsaw, pallet jacks, forklifts
• Ability to follow direction and work independently.
• Must have your own car
• Bilingual Speakers a Plus

Pay: Up to $20 an hour, DOE.

Benefits: Health Insurance (over 20 hours)
Possible Housing Available, following a 30 day trial
