***This position is a hybrid remote position. You will have a great level of flexibility to make appointments during the day, and complete phone calls, paperwork, etc. remotely. Office visits may be up to once per week.

Job Summary: The Field Therapist provides individual and family therapy to clients in a specific program. The Field Therapist is part of a multidisciplinary team that works intensively with the child and family members to address critical behavioral problems and tries to stabilize the home environment so that the family can remain together. The Therapist provides field-based services, serves as a collaborator and liaison to community agencies and school personnel.

Field Territories Available: Lynwood Area, Korea Town Area, San Fernando Valley, and the general Los Angeles area.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to fluently speak, read, write and understand English (Spanish speaking ability is a plus, and will pay a premium)
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills -Ability to communicate effectively with families and colleagues
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of community mental health treatment, including interviewing, assessment, individual, family and group counseling.
  • Knowledge of general psychiatric emergency intervention, diagnosis and brief and long-term therapy methods -Knowledge of principles of adult and child psychology
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to patient’s rights, voluntary or involuntary treatment and commitment for treatment, including criteria for commitment

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology required
  • Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Valid CA driver’s license
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Must complete and pass LiveScan background check and physical

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,480.00 - $66,480.00 per year
