The Field Service Technician provides preventative maintenance and repair services on Arjo's medical equipment. This will require understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes required to complete the work. The selected Technician will focus on high quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.

This position will be home-based and will involve daily driving to Arjo’s hospital customer locations in North Carolina and South Carolina. Arjo provide a work truck and all required tools and pays for all travel expenses.

Day-to-day functions:

• Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
• Provide technical diagnosis and cost estimation on repairs to customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assist the Sales team as necessary (e.g. joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
• Grow Service Contract revenue through new contract sales and renewal of existing service contracts.
• Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
• Complete and submit accurate reporting.
• Spare parts inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree in an electrical or mechanical field (or) suitable repair and maintenance experience with electrical equipment and/or a minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in a technical, repair or maintenance related field
• Electrical and mechanical assembly. Training and/or certifications preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push and pull 75 pounds.
