BAE Systems RS&S Field Modification team is seeking to hire a Field Service Tech supporting the Modification Site and Operations Manager. The candidate will be responsible for conducting moderate to complex procurement actions for various government programs in accordance with company policies and requirements. The individual should be able to analyze purchase requisitions; initiate POs, MROs, RFQs/RFPs; review bids; select suppliers; negotiate terms & conditions, and pricing of materials/services to be procured. This is a field support position and about 25% of duties will include property accountability requirements from acquiring through consumption and warehouse activities. In this role, you will provide all necessary logistical support to ensure customer and Field Modification requests and requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks that include data entry and problem solving for tasks such as invoice reconciliation and purchase order closeout processes using Supply Chain’s programs such as Oracle and Coupa.
Perform data entry and collection in an organized manner, supporting administrative tasks to include data collection, entry, organization, and research for various outputs.
Summarize information from various sources for different types and levels of consumption as well as performs validation checks.
Review requirements in documents i.e., statement of work, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Solicits suppliers for materials/products/services- receives, reviews, and analyzes supplier proposals and provides a cost/price analysis.
Conducts negotiations with suppliers to obtain products at the best quantity and cost in order to meet end-users requirements and business objectives.
Processes and completes complex purchase orders; determines prices from available suppliers, which meet cost, quality and schedule guidelines.
Negotiates delivery, terms and conditions, and cost in accordance with BAE Systems established policies.
Exhibits comprehensive understanding of the applicable procurement system. Applies sound procurement principles.
Ensures that only approved suppliers are utilized. Obtains required data on new suppliers for qualification and setup in company database.
Maintains communication with buyer/ suppliers during course of procurement action in order to ensure timely delivery in compliance with the requirements of the procurement document.
Identifies future procurement opportunities to further procurement strategies.
Closes out purchase orders upon receipt and final payment of all deliverable items.
Coordinates with accounts payable to resolve any problems in order to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays to end use.
Coordinates with receiving departments to resolve receipt problems.
Recommends revisions or process improvements to meet company needs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Associate's degree or at least two years’ experience.
Be a self-starter.
Communicates effectively, both verbally and written.
Capable of executing to established processes and procedures.
Exhibits high level of motivation, attention to detail, and energetic approach to job duties.
Excellent organization and follow through skills.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong computer skills to work with multiple databases
Strong time management and organization skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Practical knowledge of Supply Chain Management methodologies.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specification sheets
Experience creating price and cost analysis.
Experience negotiating purchases.
Professional experience using MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
