GENERAL FUNCTION

This role drives Asset Protection programs and supports the Sunglass Hut brand to safeguard the assets of merchandise, money, intellectual property, real property and the welfare of customers and associates.

The position investigates and subsequently resolves external incidents deemed critical pertaining to robberies, burglaries, large scale shoplifting and organized retail crime.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Regional Managers of Asset Protection (RMAP) and other field level and store associates to identify,
  • investigate and close critical incidents impacting assigned area.
  • Responsible for external case identification, initiation and gathering intelligence through use of investigative esources
  • Conducts follow-up investigation and law enforcement collaboration on all critical incidents and large scale shoplifting incidents
  • Provides ongoing progress reports and applicable recommendations.
  • Continuously keeps area field leaders and local RMAPs apprised of incidents and resolutions
  • Leverages state/local ORC laws and coordinates with appropriate law enforcement for the effective prosecution of cases and restitution recovery
  • Provides field Asset Protection associates ORC awareness training; assist store personnel with awareness training and communication standards Works collaboratively with other

Investigations.

  • Team members for development of Brand Enforcement & Asset Protection programs
  • Visits stores with a high propensity of repetitive ORC incidents to determine what additional safety/security measures can be instituted and understand the employee perspective.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years investigative experience
  • Law enforcement or ORC investigations experience preferred.
  • Self-starter who is innovative, able to multi-task, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to handle difficult or volatile situations effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise independent judgment based on core principles and practices.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to articulate findings succinctly.
  • Strong organization skills with high attention to detail, timeliness, and confidentiality
  • Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals, including those at different levels within Luxottica,
  • investigative firms and various business partners

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

External investigation experience with closure (6+ years)

Experience with brand enforcement investigations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
