Mitchell Delivery, Inc a contractor for FedEx ground, is now hiring Full time drivers in the Palmetto, Florida area.

Work Hours: 9am – 9:30am until deliveries are completed.

Start Time: 8:30

We are a 7 day a week operation.

Schedules:

5-6 days a week. One weekend day required

Pay - $750.00 - $850.00 per week upon training completion

Paid Bi-Weekly

Paid Training - $140 per day

Drivers will be operating out of the Palmetto, FL FedEx terminal located at: 11915 31st Terrace E, Palmetto, FL 34221

Drivers will be making deliveries to local residences and businesses in the Lakewood Ranch, FL and Bradenton, FL areas.

Our drivers will be operating P-1000 P-1200 vehicles which are provided by the employer.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

CDL License is NOT required!!!

· Must have CLEAN background and motor vehicle record!

· MUST BE 21 Or Older!

· Drivers must have a positive mindset, be reliable, and be willing to help other team members out if needed. ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND SAFETY IS A MUST.

• Minimum of 1 full year of verifiable business/commercial driving experience within the last 3 years (ex: package deliveries, Moving companies, landscaping etc.)
• Have a valid Driver’s License
• Have proof of authorization to work in the US
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a DOT Medical Card
• Be drug free (pass immediate and random drug tests)
• Be in good physical condition and able to handle large and/or heavy packages up to 150 lbs. This is a very physically demanding job & could involve climbing stairs
• Must fluently speak, read and understand English
• Capable of operating a scanning device

· Have reliable transportation to and from the terminal

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

· Arrive at the FedEx Terminal to pick up Vehicle and packages.

· Loading and unloading packages from vehicle

· Delivering packages to the proper destination

· Scanning and logging packages.
