Innovative and independent Family Medicine and Wellness Center in Hilliard is seeking one full time experienced Medical Assistant or Nurse to grow our team. Primary Duties:

• Plays a key role in serving as first contact for patients calling or visiting, accurately handling or triaging patient needs.
• Obtains and documents accurate and complete demographic and medical information from patient interviews.
• Obtains and documents accurate vital signs, performs minor office procedures and assists the physicians during office visits and procedures as needed. Experience in phlebotomy and starting IVs preferred.
• Communicates effectively with the physicians, collaborators and patients to handle patients’ clinical and administrative needs.
• Has direct responsibility in patient’s coordination of care including patient education, scheduling and referrals, collaboration with pharmacies, insurance companies to advocate for patients’ needs as directed by the clinicians.
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy work environment through effective personal work habits and following standard medical regulations and office policies.
• Enthusiastically champions our philosophy of Whole Health care, innovative direct primary care model, office policies and values among patients and the community.

Qualifications:

• MA Certification or above
• 3+ years of experience working in a medical environment
• Strong listening, communication skills, attention to detail
• Adaptability working with technologies (electronic health record, word processing, email, etc.)
• Experience with standard office compliance procedures (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA laboratory services, OARRS, etc.)
• Personal motivation and drive to advance your skill set and embrace potential to grow your role as our practice grows

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
