Retina Associates of Cleveland Inc., one of Ohio’s largest private Ophthalmology practices is currently seeking a full-time Facilities Manager to join our practice.

Facilities Manager

• Full time, Mon-Fri / 40 hours per week
• Annual salary range: $55,000-$65,000

Summary:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the total maintenance and organization of the facility including maintenance repairs to the building, medical equipment, and office equipment.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in commercial building maintenance
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in a medical setting

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for all maintenance, repair, and facilities related issues for 13 medical offices across Northeast Ohio.
• Responds quickly to employee facility/maintenance related requests, ensures timely and quality service delivery to staff members and follows up to ensure satisfaction.
• Ability to perform light carpentry, finishing, painting, door hardware, signage.
• Performs breakdown maintenance.
• Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
• Triage facilities issues and fixes independently or contracts out to appropriate vendor
• Oversees all maintenance and cleaning contracts (e.g. HVAC, landscaping, plumbing)
• Monitors vendor performance and provides direction to vendors as needed to ensure vendor compliance with our specifications and quality standards.
• Monitors the facility maintenance schedule to ensure that routine maintenance is performed according to schedule.
• Responsible for building and maintaining relations with external vendors.
• Performs regular inspections of facilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Travel to all offices on routine basis for general rounding/fix issues.
