Job description
This position functions as a locksmith and is located at the Engineering and Construction Services Lock Shop located in Milledgeville, GA.
This position responds to facility emergencies, therefore after hours work and travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of experience working in a maintenance related field in a security detention facility, prison, or jail where duties include working on locks.
Knowledge of re-keying cylinders, adjusting doors, cutting keys, rebuilding and troubleshooting detention locks and sliders, and gate operations.
Locksmith certification.
