Fabrication Operator - First Shift

This position is located at 4425 W May Street Wichita, KS 67209. This position shift is first (6:00am to 2:30pm).

DESCRIPTION

Summary: Responsible for working in the fabrication shop, forming items, and operating various machines by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produces parts for customers by meeting all of the requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
• Utilizes various tools to check parts
• Operates various machines in a safe matter.
• Makes various improvements in the work area to increase the quality of work.
• Ensures that all paperwork is completed and accurate.
• Utilizes Estitrack and uses for clocking purposes for the handling of scrap parts.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
