The position

This position is an excellent opportunity for a professional that enjoys building relationships and understanding the business of our customers. You will gain international experience and knowledge of international transportation of perishable goods mostly related to export operations. You will have a variety of tasks, all contributing to your development as a professional within the organization. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Manage and maintain relationships with our customers, understanding their business requirements to mutual benefit.
• Handling all aspects of export shipments including preparing documentation, export declaration, Bills of Lading, Health certificates, insurance certificates and any other required documents.
• Coordinating with all suppliers to arrange international shipments (Ocean FCL, LCL, Air freight)
• Securing trucking and consolidating loads.
• Coordinating with cold storages and arrange cross-docking / trans-loading as needed.
• Occasional procurement of third party vendors such as truckers, cold storages and warehouses.
• Liaising with domestic and international offices and agents.
• Invoicing customers and processing all vendor costs related to shipments
• Be the owner of all customer issues and engage relevant stakeholders as required to facilitate timely and effective solutions.
• Proactively finding the root cause of service failures and taking corrective action.

We ask An Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred Relevant experience in a similar role is an advantage.

• Ability to work in a cross cultural environment.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with initiative, self-motivation and discipline. Ability to deal with complexity in a high-volume environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
