Position Title: Experience Designer

Job Description:
You’ll be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next product innovation, and understanding the user-flow, to tweaking pixels before launch. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about taking design direction and strategies and turning them into user-friendly, pixel-perfect products. You will help us grow our existing and future products in our efforts to maintain a high bar of user-centered design as we continue to invest in and grow our product lines.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with our multi-faceted teams to produce high-quality user-centered designs.
  • Build on and help grow our existing design system.
  • Ability to take in a variety of data points to influence product designs. Including but not limited to; analytics, user testing/research, and business feedback.
  • Effectively communicate ideas and rationale with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Provide and solicit constructive feedback that drives quality and effectiveness.
  • Share knowledge in reviews and demos to communicate the value of good and meaningful design.
  • Be active in evangelizing a collaborative, human-centered design process within the organization.
Requirements:
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a UX / UI design role.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in a creative role.
  • A portfolio to demonstrate design approach and capability.
  • Basic understanding of software design (native iOS/Android/responsive web).
  • Basic understanding of human-centered design.
  • Comfort with modern design tools: Figma, Adobe CC, etc.
  • Comfort with remote team collaboration and feedback cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • A true desire to impact our products, industry, and in turn, our guests.

Extra Credit:
  • Demonstrated experience designing (UX and or UI) mobile and web software.
  • Experience working within and contributing to design systems.
