Job Title: Executive Vice President of Sales

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a EVP of Sales to oversee company-wide revenue generation and build an integrated approach across marketing and sales to create the best customer experience. The EVP of Sales develops a vision and provides leadership for company-wide activities and strategies focused on generating, maintaining, and increasing revenue. Creates strategies to integrate and align functions across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Estimation and Proposals to achieve revenue targets and grow demand for the company's solutions and services. You'll be responsible for revenue performance and for customer retention, customer growth, and new customer acquisition. And coordinates and aligns marketing and sales teams and ensures that processes deliver an effective end-to-end client and buyer experience.

The EVP of Sales will establish analytics and methods to measure and forecast demand and market conditions and develop effective and data-driven pricing strategies. Conducts research to identify internal and external opportunities to expand and optimize revenue-producing activities. Additionally, EVP of Sales establishes targets, policies, and internal processes to achieve efficiencies in revenue generation and capture.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

· Provides Sales Strategies, Playbook and Vision (short/long term).

· Develop GTM models across offers and segments to access buyers, client and influencers.

· Sets specific quarterly and annual sales goals and quotas.

· Works to ensure sales and productivity goals are met.

· Build out high performing sales teams.

· Works to foster lasting relationships with client base.

· Manage a variety of marketing programs to attract, engage and convert leads.

· Ensure Account Managers are executing effectively to maximize retention, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.

· Draws up sales activity reports.

· Networks with prospective clients.

· Oversees the activities of sales associates.

· Presents information regarding clients and sales at company meetings.

· Assists in designing marketing and promotional materials both in print and online.

· Leads in-house seminars and workshops to help improve the effectiveness and productivity of the sales team.

· Conducts independent research into target consumer base.

· Attends national sales conferences.

· Devises new and innovative ways to market products and services.

Competencies

  • Successful leadership experience in particular scaling and managing all aspects of the sales and marketing function.
  • Successful track record of service sales, selling managed services or Business Process Outsourcing within assigned industry segments and/or a geographic territory.
  • Possess experience managing complex clients and sales cycles.
  • Experience selling high-end Managed Services characterized by long sales cycles and both large and small dollar transactions.
  • Significant business relationships and network with senior client executives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistently demonstrate clarify of thought.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and quotas – in a complex and dynamic market.
  • Strong ability to execute and tightly manage a Sales function using key metrics.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Exhibits awareness of best sales practices and methods.
  • 15+ years of sales management experience.
  • Works well with a team.
  • Demonstrates patience with reluctant or frustrated clients.
  • Maintains a professional but confident and outgoing demeanor.
  • Possesses strong persuasive abilities.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications

To qualify for consideration, applicants must possess the following basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • 15+ years of applicable sales experience in the Services, IT Services or Retail Services Industry.
