Must possess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionals and/or hotel guests. Implement company programs and manage the operations of the division in a manner consistent with Federal/State laws and regulations and procedures to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality Implement emergency organization procedures and training through the management of the Security staff to ensure appropriate protection for hotel guests, staff and company assets.

Inspect rooms to make sure high quality of cleanliness for guests, and no maintenances issues that would impact guest satisfaction breaking out room assignments for housekeepers daily Compiling room boards to make sure numbers match and are reconciled with clean to dirty room ratio must be able to lift up to 25 pounds must be able to stand, push, pull and bend frequently

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards
  • Plan and prepare employee work schedules
  • Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner
  • Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of rooms to determine the type of work required
  • Forecast necessary levels of staffing and stock at different times to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering
  • Evaluate employee performance, and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals
  • Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel problems and to discuss company policies
  • Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency
  • Oversee and manage in-house services such as laundry and public space cleanliness
  • Advise the front office of rooms ready for occupancy
  • Prepare activity and personnel reports, and reports containing information such as occupancy, hours worked, facility usage, work performed, and departmental expenses

Requirements:

  • High school degree (or equivalency) with Hotel or College training preferred
  • Housekeeping supervisor experience in hotel housekeeping
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of customer management platforms
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • An aptitude for self-motivation
  • A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
  • A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
